More than 8,500 candidates witnessed at the job mela conducted by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation at City College on Tuesday. The job mela was inaugurated by Charminar MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri and Bahadurpura MLA Mohammed Maozam Khan.
GHMC additional commissioner (Urban Community Development) V Bhaskara Chary said that the two day event witnesses around 40 companies. The interviews will also be conducted on Wednesday.
Applicants who have passed class X or are graduates or post graduates are eligible to appear. Candidates with 10th class, Intermediate, Degree, MBA, B.Tech etc., can attend interviews.
