MIM candidate from Ghansibazaar ward Ms. Sameena Begum alleged that Renu Soni who was elected as Corporator had actually submitted false information related to her qualification as candidate.
She has reportedly filed an election petition bearing EOP No. 491 of 2016 before election tribunal in Hyderabad in which she revealed that Renu has three children and also she do not belongs to BC category.
Sameena Begum asked the Election Tribunal to declare Renu Soni as disqualified and subsequently announce runner-up herself as winner.
