Jaipur: A four-year-old girl fell into Udaipur’s Fatehsagar Lake today when two boats collided with each other.
Rescue efforts are on, but due to poor visibility conditions, the divers are finding it difficult to carry out the operation, SHO, Ambamata, Dilip Singh said.
The girl, Mahak Saini, was sitting in her mother’s lap when the boats collided.
Due to the impact of the collision, the girl fell into the lake, police officials said.
The girl’s family had come to Udaipur from Jaipur on vacation.
Singh said that boat-drivers have been taken into custody to check whether they were authorised by municipal corporation for boat rides
