Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Indo-Pak war of 1965

Hyderabad: Addressing the gathering at the Conference Hall of Hyderabad Collectorate, Mr. Rahul Buja told that the sacrifices of our soldiers during the Indo-Pak war of 1965 cannot be forgotten. He further told that allotment of land and pension cases of ex-service men would be referred to State and Central Governments.

 

District Sanik Welfare Officer, Lt. Praveen Kumar requested the collector of Hyderabad to recommend pensions for the soldiers who fought wars against Pakistan in 1965 and 1971. The Collector assured that this matter would be referred to Govt. of Telangana. The 10-minute video clippings of 1965 war were also shown in the meeting. The program ended with the recitation of Dr. Sir Mohammed Iqbal’s poem, “Saare Jahan se Acha Hindustan Hamara”.
