Lucknow: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said that NDA Government is committed for social security to all people in the country.
Speaking at the inauguration of a hundred bed hospital and trauma center of Estate Employees Insurance Corporation-ESIC, Singh said that in order to give social security cover to the people, Centre has started various welfare schemes like PMJDY, Atal Pension Yozana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana among others; and several new social welfare schemes will also be started.
He said, now along with food, cloth and house, education and health aspects have become a priority for people and the government is doing a lot in this direction.
He said, along with organised sector, attention is being paid for the welfare of workers in un-organised sector as well.
Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaroo Dattatreya said that 54 lakh family members of 14 lakh insured people are taking benefit of ESI hospitals in Uttar Pradesh. (ANI)
