Govt negligent on city development: Kishan Reddy

BJP floor leader in the Assembly G Kishan Reddy today alleged in the House that development of Hyderabad city has been derailed in the recent times.

 

Reddy informed the House that the State government has adopted negligent attitude in the development of Hyderabad city. The repair works of roads damaged in heavy rains was not satisfactory and there was no proper coordination between the GHMC and TSRTC on the bus bays.

The BJP leader said, “We are not getting any response or reply on the issues raised by the party and written to GHMC authorities. The Chief Minister will get timely reply from the Prime Minister, but there was no guarantee of time period for getting a reply from the GHMC authorities if we write a letter, Kishan Reddy alleged.

Meanwhile, Municipal Administration Minister KTR told the House that the State government has an unambiguous plan on the development of the city. There was a need of the Central government’s help for the purpose and the BJP members should also use their good offices and help the government in getting funds for the purpose, KTR added. (NSS)
