The State government today accorded permission to fill 244 vacant posts in various departments in the State. These posts will be filled under the control of Commissioner of Backward Classes Welfare department and the TSPSC will take up recruitment drive for filling these posts.
The number of posts to be filled include district BC Development Officers 4, Assistant BC Development Officers 9, Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-II 229 in which Pre Metric hostels Welfare Officers are 166 and Post Metric Hostel Welfare officers 63 and Junior Assistants two.
Finance Secretary N Siva Sankar said the Telangana State Public Service Commission secretary was directed to take appropriate steps in this regard. (NSS)
