Govt. plans to increase minority budget next year

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said that the government plans to increase the minority budget for the next financial year. Apart from that some new schemes will also be introduced. Deputy Chief Minister reviewed the preparation of budget and implementation of schemes on Wednesday along with the officials of Minority Welfare. He told that officials that government is in favour of complete disbursement of Rs. 1130 Cr. budget allotted for the current year and the 3rd quarterly budget will be released shortly.

Mahmood Ali claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is very sincere regarding welfare of minorities. Chief Minister has lauded for achieving the target of Rs 100 Cr. under Shaadi Mubarak Scheme and has sanctioned further Rs 50 Cr.

Mr. Mahmood Ali informed that Telangana government plans to provide financial assistant to 2 lakh poor families at the time of marriage.

He provided the details regarding owner cum driver scheme and establishment of 60 English medium residential schools.
