Hyderabad: There is no comparison between Congress and TRS with regard to establishment of Minority Residential Schools. Congress had established just 4 residential schools for minorities during its rule while TRS has made a record by establishing 71 schools. Congress and TRS are as different as chalk and cheese. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali told this while replying to a question raised by leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir regarding Minority Residential Schools. He informed that government has set a target to open 89 more schools by next year. He revealed that presently 39 schools for boys and 32 schools for girls are working.
Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali told that establishment of residential schools in old city will be preferred.
