Govt. serious about 12% reservation for Muslims – Mahmood Ali, KTR

Hyderabad: A delegation of the Muslims of Koratla, Kareem Nagar led by Mr. Mohammed Mobeen Pasha, President of Bar Association of Koratla and co-opted member of Koratla Municipality, met Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of Telangana State and felicitated him by presenting a shawl. On this occasion, the delegation presented a memorandum to him for 12% reservation for Muslims and requested him to make a representation to Mr. KCR and to remind him about the election promise he made to the Muslims for providing 12% reservations in the fields of education and employment. The delegation included Mr. Mohammed Nayeemuddin, President of Jamat-e-Islami, Kareem Nagar, Mr. Mohammed Abdus Saleem Farooqui, Correspondent of Siasat Urdu Daily, Koratla, Mr. Mohammed Najeebuddin, President Empowerment Forum and TRS Leader, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Musawir, Correspondent of Sahafi-e-Deccan, Mr. Mohammed Shujauddin, Mr. Mohammed Zaheeruddin and others.

Mr. Mahmood Ali told that Mr. KCR is implementing many schemes which he had not included in TRS election manifesto. He assured that Mr. KCR will fulfill his election promise although it is delayed.

Mr. Mohammed Mustaq Husain Ansari, Associate Member of Zilla Parishad of Nizamabad met Mr. KT Rama Rao, Panchayati Raj Minister and demanded for the implementation of 12% reservation for Muslims after obtaining recommendations from BCs Commission. Mr. KTR told that Govt. of Telangana is seriously taking steps for the implementation of its election promises, the results of which would be known to public very soon.
