Govt. of Telangana to hold review meeting ahead of Ramadan

ramadan

A meeting to review Ramadan arrangements will be held by the Telangana government on the evening of the May 26 at Secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mohammed Mahmood Ali will preside over the meeting. Ministers belonging to the city, public representatives and officers of various departments will attend the meeting.

It is customary to hold such review meeting ahead of Ramadan every year. However the decisions taken in the meeting are not usually implemented. The need is to make the officials accountable besides assigning them the duties.

Last year GHMC failed to maintain health and hygiene. Apart from that electricity officials also failed to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

Although government announces clearing of garbage from surrounding areas of masajid but the garbage remains as it is adding to the woes of the devotees.
