Govt. will bear Civil Service coaching expenses of 100 minority students every year

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said it has been decided to establish 130 more minority residential schools for educational development of minorities. Thus number of Minority Residential Schools will reach to 200. Deputy Chief Minister was addressing minority students regarding Civil Services coaching here at Secretariat. 100 minority students were issued letters of admission in various coaching centres.

Deputy Chief Minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is serious with regard to educational and economic development of minorities hence he has launched a unique scheme of minority schools.

Besides Telangana government has decided to provide Civil Service Coaching to 100 minority students every year. They will be given admission in private institutions and the expenses will be borne by the government. Rs. 1 lakh expenditure will be incurred on each student. Government will pay stipend of Rs. 5000 to students belonging to districts while students of the city will be paid stipend of Rs. 2500. Besides coaching material worth Rs. 3500 will also be provided to each student.
