Govt will bear medical expenses for “Vanajeevi” Ramaiah: Tummala

Minister for Roads & Buildings Tummala Nageshwar Rao today called on Padmasri “Vanajeevi” Ramaiah (noted for greenery expansion by planting one crore saplings in his lifetime) at the Care Hospital at Banjara Hills here.

The minister enquired about Ramaiah’s health, who was admitted there followed by a cardiac related problem. The meeting assumes significance as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has offered to bear total medical expenses for “Vanajeevi” Ramaiah.

Speaking to the media later, the minister said Ramaiah’s condition was stable now. The State government is bearing all the expenditure on providing better health care services to Ramaiah, he said. (NSS)
