Father of State Lok Ayukt Justice Subhashan Reddy who is 8 year older to Osmania General Hospital strongly protested against the plans to demolish Osmania General Hospital and said that such a historical hospital should not be demolished as thousands of patients are treated in it.
According to 99 year old Agga Reddy heritage structures hold a great importance for people.
Cardiologist Dr. Hyder Khan felt that many buildings older to Osmania Hospital are present in the city and outskirts. As far as Osmania hospital is concerned it is a vast beautiful building suitable for treatment of illness. It can be renovated if possible instead of demolishing it.
