Hyderabad: CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR had made promises on the floor of State Assembly out of which instructions have been issued to the lease grants for three projects. These projects are established of Islamic Cultural and Convention Center, Renovation of Makkah Masjid and construction of Anees-ul-Ghurba Orphanage for which Rs. 28.48 crore have been released but the surprising thing is that Govt. did not released this amount to Wakf Board as grant-in aid.
Officials sources indicated that the land allotted for Islamic Cultural Center is occupied by illegal occupants and it is difficult to dislodge them. Govt. also did not release the grants allocated for the Dept. of Minorities Welfare.
