Had a great time on ‘The Good Wife’: Archie Panjabi

Los Angeles: British actress Archie Panjabi has no regrets about leaving “The Good Wife” amid reports that things were not well between her and the show’s lead star Julianna Margulies.

Panjabi said she loved playing Kalinda Sharma but she was planning to move to some other show, reported People magazine.

“I loved playing the role of Kalinda,” Panjabi told reporters at the Television Critics Association panel.

“I had such a great time on [Good Wife]. It’s something that’s very special to me.”

Panjabi won an Emmy in 2010 for her portrayal of hard-edged investigator Kalinda Sharma. The actress starred on the first six seasons of the legal series, but left under a cloud of drama.

Fans spotted that Panjabi and Margulies did not shoot their final scene together sparking speculation that they were not on good terms.

But Panjabi, 44, said she would not want to dwelve on what happened on the show.

“In terms of anything that happened on The Good Wife, I think it’s only respectful for it to stay on The Good Wife. It was time for me for many reasons to unzip the boots and step into another show.”

The actress has now joined the second season of “Blindspot”.
