Group-II aspirants allege foul in written exmaination results

Hyderabad: The Group-II aspirants have alleged that candidates who used double bubbling in OMR sheets have got qualified in the written examination irrespective of High Courts order. Candidates who have appeared for the Group II exams held in November 2016 moved to High Court filing a petition seeking acceptance of their answers which were corrected using whitener as valid.

As per the High Court’s order passed on April 24, 2017, the Telangana State Public service Commission was directed not to consider candidates who have used whitener for double bubbling of their answers as it would be a violation of rules and will effect the entire selection process.

As per the rules, no entrance exam would allow using of whiteners or double bubbling in the OMR sheets. The aspirants alleged it is the violation of Rules and against the instructions given on the hall tickets.

A Group-II aspirant Radha Gopal who did not qualify the exam said, “Candidates were not considered if they were late by a minute then how come the candidates who used whitener and did double bubbling got qualified in the Group-II exams”, DC reported.
