Guidelines violated in recruitments of Minority Residential schools’ staff, incharge DMWO suspended

Hyderabad: Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel suspended incharge District Minority Welfare Officer, Hyderabad with immediate effect, in connection with the irregularities in recruitments in Minority Residential schools.

It is said that the guidelines issued in connection with temporary recruitments have been violated and orders issued by higher officials were ignored. After receiving various complaints against the said incharge District Minority Welfare Officer, Hyderabad, Syed Omer Jaleel tried to bring out the facts. It was revealed that the decision to recruit atleast 70 pc minority candidates has been violated.

Though a large number of minority candidates had applied for the posts, Incharge DMWO sent the names of just 50 pc minority candidates to the district collectors,. Apart from that Secretary Minority Welfare had sanctioned 5 coolers for Shahi Masjid Bagh-e-Aamma however when the cooler supplying company contacted the incharge DMWO he returned it saying the department has no budget.
