Gurukul Schools in KG to PG program: Srihari


Good news for trained teachers awaiting jobs in Telangana.

The State Government will soon issue a notification for recruitment of teachers through District Selection Committee examinations. Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari stated that Gurukul Schools will be included to the flagship program of KG to PG education.

He told mediapersons that the government will appoint teachers for government and residential schools by 2016-17. There is no need of panic for the trained teachers, who can grab jobs through the DSC, Srihari said. Efforts are on to fill teacher posts and strengthen Education department, he said. Modalities are being worked out to improve educational standards through the KG to PG program which will become operational next academic year, he added. (NSS)
