Haj Committee to set up Control Room

Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S A Shukoor announced the setting up of a Haj Control Room in the Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad, which will function round the clock in three shifts from 9th September to14th September.

Phone Number of the Control Room is 040- 2323 8223and relatives of the pilgrims may contact the Control Room in case of any difficulty, the Haj Committee will gather information from various sources including the Haj Committee of India, the Indian Haj Mission and the Khadim-ul-Hujjaj and disseminate it.  This would be the first ever Control Room in the country to disseminate information from Makkah Saudi Arabia during the Haj days.

It may be recalled here that the Telangana State Haj Committee was the first in the country to set up a Control Room last year when two tragedies occurred during Haj 2015, when a Crane fell down in Makkah and a stampede was witnessed at Mina.

He said that the Haj pilgrims from the State of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will start leaving Makkah for Mina, 11 KMs from Makkah for the Haj rituals from Friday Night by buses. He said that the Khadimul-Hujjaj have been instructed to   accompany the pilgrims and provide every necessary help them. (INN)
