Haj pilgrimage concludes successfully

With return back of all the 15 Chartered Haj flights carrying 4873 Haj pilgrims the Haj Season 2016 concluded successfully, announced Prof. S A Shukoor Special Officer Telangana State Haj Committee in a Media Release here today. He said that altogether 4,900 Haj pilgrims went on pilgrimage from Hyderabad Embarkation Point and all of them have performed Haj successfully. There were just three deaths during this Haj season in Saudi Arabia, out of which two belonged to Telangana and One to AP. He further said that eight pilgrims still remained in KSA, six due to Medical reasons and two owing to non-match of finger prints of a pilgrim. The issue of non-match of finger prints is solved and he is expected to return in a day or two. He said that 16 pilgrims returned early on their own.

           

Deputy Chief Minister  Mohammed Mahmood Ali and Secretary to Government  Syed Omer Jaleel expressed their happiness and congratulated Prof. S. A. Shukoor on successful completion of Haj season. Prof. S. A. Shukoor expressed his gratitude to all the departments including Customs, Immigration, GMR, Air India, BCAS, CISF, Police and the volunteers for their cooperation. (NSS)
