Electricity department officials disconnected power supply to Hajj House as a result the whole building plunged into darkness thanks to the negligence of Hajj House officials. It is said that the electricity bill of Hajj House which was over Rs. 2 lakh was not paid for a long time. Electricity officials had already issued notice to Waqf Board but the officials paid no heed to that. Finally electricity officials disconnected power supply on Friday at around 4 pm as a result work came to standstill.
Although Minority Welfare officials pleaded to restore power assuring to pay the bills at the earliest, electricity officials didn’t listen to their pleads and refused to restore electricity. Workers of various minority institutions and people had to face lot of difficulties due to the negligence of officials.
