New Delhi: In a relief to tipplers, the state government has allowed liquor retailers to stay open for extra hours in the run up to the New Year.
On December 24, 25 and 31, retail vends which sell Indian Made Foreign Liquor (FL-II) licensees, will be allowed to operate till 1:30 AM instead of 10:30 PM and beer shopees can be open till 1 AM. Country liquor retailers have been allowed to stay open till 1 AM and beer bars, permit rooms, clubs can serve patrons till 5 AM.
