Harish accuses Opposition of stalling reorganizing districts

Major irrigation minister Harish Rao on Monday said that the reoganisation of districts is being carried out on the guidelines of Chief Minister and the entire process was being carried scientifically.

Addressing reporters here on Monday, Harish Rao lashed out at the Opposition parties saying that they were misleading the people with false claims that the districts reorganization is being carried out unscientifically. The minister asked TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy to come to Siddipet and ask the opinion of his own party leaders if they wanted Siddipet as new district.

Harish Rao reiterated that the state government was committed to the development of the state and reorganization of the districts was being done with solely for the administrative purpose. He reminded that even the earlier governments too promised to create new districts but failed to keep their promises but TRS fulfilled its promise and added that the new districts will come into effect from Dasara festival.

TDP and Congress are opposing the reorganization of districts for political gains and warned that people of the state would teach a befitting lesson for creating hurdles in the development of the state. (INN)
