Telangana Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao today met Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya and sought his help on Krishna River Tribunal.
Harish Rao went to the residence of Dattatraya at Ramnagar and submitted a memorandum on the issue of Krishna river tribunal. While the Telangana government has initiated measures to construct projects on the basis of its water share, the AP government was spreading false information and submitting memorandum to the Centre on false information, he said, adding that he would meet Union Water Resources Minister Umabharathi and submit a memorandum on the Krishna Tribunal issue.
Datttreya assured that he would ensure that the Centre help in protecting Telangana share of Krishna river water. He also said he would speak to Umabharathi in this connection. (NSS)
