Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today criticized that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu surpasses others in carrying out misinformation campaign against Telangana projects. Naidu is making deliberate attempts to stall the projects in Telangana despite the fact that they began before bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Participating in Mission Kakatiya at Kadipikonda in Warangal district along with Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and local MLA Konda Surekha he announced Rs 50 lakhs for Sidheshwaram lake and Rs 5 cr for repairs of Bhavani lake tank bund and construct new check dams on Akeru lake. Speaking on the occasion Harish alleged that Chandrababu regime wrote a letter to Centre against Palamur, Dindi and other projects against the norms.
However, the TRS Government will complete Kaleshwaram, Palamur and other projects on time to irrigate 5 crore acres in future, he reiterated. He threw a challenge saying that Chandrababu should come clear whether he wrote a letter to the Centre against the projects in Telangana. Stating that he will soon disclose the letter Harish maintained that the government is for speedy completion of the projects with design change for more ayacut. Of course, we do not require the permission of Andhra leaders like Chandrababu and YCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy for our projects he stated. Despite AP stalling our projects Telangana TD leaders are supporting Chandrababu he ridiculed.
Kadiam Srihari said that KCR has affection on Warangal to develop it to great extent by allotting Rs 300 cr for its development on par with Hyderabad city. The shape of the city will change completely in three yearsas top level education institutions, industries are being set up Warangal besides giving priority for infrastructure and facilities Srihari said. Surekha is getting huge funds for the city development he added. Surekha expressed hope that the chief minister is giving priority for the city development.
