The Hyderabad High Court today dismissed the assault case against Andhra Pradesh Minister Ravela Kishore Babu’s son Susheel due to lack of evidence. The woman, who had initially filed a case against the minister’s son, alleging that she was assaulted, submitted an affidavit in the High Court that she doesn’t recognize Susheel.
It may be recalled that Susheel has been booked under Section 354 of the IPC and the Nirbhaya Act for harassing a private school teacher and for trying to drag her into his car. Both Susheel and his driver Ramesh are currently lodged in Chanchalguda jail. (NSS)
