The High Court today adjourned a case filed against the Union government challenging the demonetization of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 currency notes to November 16. The Court on Tuesday said several petitions were filed on same issue and all will be taken up for hearing at one go.
It may be recalled that advocate PV Krishnaiah filed a petition on last Tuesday challenging the cancellation of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes. He alleged in his petition that the common people were facing a lot of troubles with the demonetization of big notes. (NSS)
