Patna: At least 10 people have lost their lives in the past 48 hours due to heavy rains and hailstorm in Bihar. However, the rains brought the much awaited relief from the sweltering heat.
The Met department has predicted heavy rain at isolated places over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, south interior Karnataka and Kerala during next 48 hours.
Telangana is likely to receive light-to-moderate rains or thundershowers at some places in the next five days.
This will bring relief to people from scorching heat which claimed 234 lives in Telangana this season. Weatherman also predicted thundersquall at isolated places over north-eastern India. (ANI)
