Heptulla, KCR to attend education conference at MANUU


Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Union Minister of Minority Affairs Dr. Najma Heptulla will be the chief guests at `Taleem ki Taquat`- a Conference on how education can energise communities.

This third edition of the conference is with particular emphasis on empowering different communities, particularly the Muslim community and how to accelerate the process of bringing them into the mainstream through the use of the process of Taleem or education.

The conference will be  held on 20th September at  Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Campus in Gachibowli at 3 PM.

The first edition of this movement was held in Mumbai on August 3rd and the chief guest at that event was Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. The second edition was held in the Patna on 5th September with chief guest being the Union Minister of Information and Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad

MANUU Chancellor Zafar Sareshwala will be presiding over the conference. The conference will feature a distinguished set of speakers including Md. Mohamood Ali, Telangana Deputy CM, Justice M Y Eqbal, Judge of the Supreme Court, K Kavitha, MP, Nizamabad, Kishore Kharat, MD and CEO, IDBI Bank and Shamshuddin Mohamed, Chief Imam Makka Masjid, Chennai.

Zafar Sareshwala said, “The only agenda behind this initiative is to encourage different communities, more particularly the Muslim community, to get equipped with knowledge and skill through education since it is the only key to development for its social and economic transformation. I want Muslims and all young people, particularly women to engage with the government and take benefit of diverse welfare schemes.” (INN)
