Colombia: A high-tech carrier pigeon has been caught trying to smuggle a mobile phone and USB Drive stick into a jail in Colombia.
Two prison guards spotted the bird inside the jail and noticed the bulky package wrapped in a condom as a waterproof pack strapped on its body.
The prison guards removed black the harness attached to the pigeon’s body. When opened, they found the phone and USB stick. As the footage shows, guard addresses the camera, saying: ‘My companion will now free the pigeon after removing the bag with the phone.’
Officials are working to identify to whom the parcel was being delivered to. The officials said that it is not the first time a pigeon or birds has been used as carriers to get messages or items to prisoners.
