Hindu religious leader Shankaracharya Swami criticized Congress for holding beef party in Kerala

Uttarakhand: Hindu Religious leader Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati who is currently temporarily staying in Joshimath while speaking to reporters has strongly criticized Congress Party for holding a beef party in Kerala on Tuesday.

He also informed that he has taken this matter to public relations officer of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and also spoken to Vice President of Congress Rahul Gandhi, saying slaughtering of cattle is against Indian culture as cows are worshiped in India.

Shankracharya who was a participant in Quit India Movement is known to be closely connected with Congress in political matters. He also said that he has been told that disciplinary action has already been taken against the Congress workers who held the beef party.

On talking about the Babri Masjid demolition case in Lucknow, he said there was never a mosque on that land whereas the excavations carried out in the area, revealed remnants of the temple, Dailyhunt reported.
