The Role
Ensure business continuity by reducing the impact of IT downtime on day to day running of the business. Earliest resolution of IT support requests.
Manage all incoming IT support emails into the IT Service Desk queue and provide necessary troubleshooting to resolve all hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported; proactively ensure all potential risks are identified and action is taken before IT issues occur, where and where possible.
Maintain an IT Asset Management register, ensuring that all assets are recorded and updated/removed when required.
Conduct network troubleshooting to locate and resolve network issues.
Ensure all local software and hardware licensing to ensure conformance to laws and the overall IT policy of Radio Holland.
Ensure regular servicing of and maintenance of servers; ensure regular system and data backups and disaster recovery preparation.
Recommend, as and when necessary, software and hardware solutions that ensure business continuity and adherence to Radio Holland’s IT policy.
Ensure system and data security and integrity of Radio Holland Middle East.
Assist HR Department with IT orientation, as part of a new employee’s induction.
Manage entire purchase of inventory related to hardware, software and other IT supplies.
Conduct training, as and when necessary, for relevant employees when a new hardware / software solution is implemented.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in an IT support role in a medium sized organization.
Proven track record of having hands on experience all IT tools, software and hardware required for a medium sized organization.
Experience in a technology driven industry preferred, but not a must
