Description
Key Accountabilities:
•Take full responsibility to ensure adherence to safety requirements according to the company’s HSE policies and local health, safety and environmental regulations.
•Take full responsible for the preparation, set-up, testing and maintenance of the Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) tools and equipment used to acquire geotechnical data.
•Responsible for the acquisition of high quality geotechnical data to support the Geotechnical Engineers.
•Assist the Geotechnical Engineers with the collation of relevant paperwork and reports.
•Will be involved at all stages, from mobilizations to operation and recovery, working closely with the operations department to ensure that the correct equipment is prepared and mobilized, operated, stored and maintained to the highest possible standards.
Qualifications required:
•Technical/trade school certificate or higher.
Skills / experience required to do the job:
•Offshore experience with CPT tools and equipment.
Role specific competencies required:
•Positive team player, assisting both the geotechnical sampling and drilling teams as required offshore.
•Heavy duty drivers license.
