The Role

Objectives: The Digital Marketing Assistant is integral to enhancing customer experience at McDonalds – Qatar. The incumbent would be responsible for online brand protection, in-store digital experience and aiding in the implementation of the wider Digital strategy.

Main responsibilities:
– Design, develop and implement the Digital strategy for the mobile application, e- commerce site, Company website, digital menu boards and social media channels
– Manage product marketing through optimising promotion of products via relevant online channels to reach the desired target market
– Ensure all products are uploaded onto the website in a timely manner, reviewing all content on site to ensure content is optimised in line with allocations
– Allocate the best content management systems for use in line with company needs and guidelines
– Compile regular status updates in the market ensuring competitive advantage is obtained
– Assist teams with promotional activity through online merchandising, banners etc
– Regularly update content with new products, pricing, out of stock, discontinued items and promotions
– Continually optimise digital touch points to ensure customers have a reason to return to the site
– Produce effective email campaigns and creatives, posting regular emails to customers ensuring a pilot is conducted prior to each campaign
– Work cross functionally to help shape the product and experiences
– Responsible for ensuring the website is updated with the most up to date content including menus, blog posts, restaurant details and images
– Aid with offline marketing in line with Company strategy
– Measure ROI through conducting regular analytical reports, communicating key achievements and areas of concerns to the Marketing Manager
– Work alongside suppliers and vendors to ensure engaging content for all social media channels: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, conducting regular analytics for engagement, following etc.
– Manage the e-commerce site ensuring current products are advertised and any new promotional campaigns are easily accessible for our customers

Reporting to: Marketing Manager

Requirements

University Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a relevant field

Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum of 3 years experience
