Business Environment and Role Overview:
As part of finance transformation program, business support roles are being transitioned from high cost locations to India. In line with the program objectives, ES Sales, Practices Finance Director role is being transitioned to India. The leader would lead global team of sales and practices finance analysts supporting WW senior leaders. The person would be responsible to independently ideate, conceptualize, develop and deploy analytical solutions that help exceed business goals. This includes sales planning, revenue forecasting, incentive plan finalization for sales and account executives, return on investment analysis and impairment testing. The role is a global one and cuts across all the three regions AMS, EMEA and APJ that ES operates in.

Job/Role description:
Sales Forecasting:
Work with Sales leaders, Regions on TCV and FFYR budgets setting and forecasting
Deploy analytics, business knowledge in proactively identifying risks and opportunities in flash work with leaders on risk mitigation/ opportunity crystallization
Drive pipeline analysis through predictive forecasting using pipe shape and size, win rates, deal types etc.

Revenue Related:

Responsible for revenue forecasting – work with regions on annual revenue budget setting exercise, quarterly forecast
Track secured, sell & bill independently assess regional forecast to proactively identify risks and opportunities and highlight the same
Drive secured, sell and bill analysis using historical, pipeline data
Manage the annual POR (Plan of record) updation process

Field Selling Costs:

Manage field selling costs to ensure maximum returns on every invested $s
Work with CFO, Sales Leaders in setting the annual FSC budget and track the progress against the same
Work closely with Sales Ops in setting the SIP (Sales Incentive Plans)
Work closely with Business Ops in management of AEPP (Account Executive Performance Payout) plan

Practices Finance:
Lead the team driving performance accountability to targets and optimize ES investments in portfolio, capabilities and strategic GTM programs
Helps SVP and VPs make the right financial decision connects multiple disciplines on complex issues. Support business leaders approve complex investment proposals, conduct impairment analysis
Responsible for service line financial reporting – highly complex process given limited system maturity

Team Development:

Ability to manage managers and their extended teams, including multiple separate, but related, functions
Attract, develop and retain key talent to meet current and future business capability needs and develop succession pool for critical finance roles
Increase employee engagement
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

Overall / Others:

Make business decisions/ suggestions based on in-depth key financial factors. Recommendations should be backed by data and should be able to hold it when challenged
Create an environment in which interaction with customers is expected to strengthen relationships. Influence decisions aligned to company goals while having open and straight talk about difficult issues
Consult with business leaders at the SVP and VP level to drive and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope
Works with cross cultural teams based out of different geographies to drive the desired outcome. Requires flexibility of working across time zones
Demonstrate excellence in engagement delivery, thought-leadership, strategic problem solving, high impact team management and strong customer relations at senior executive levels.

Required Experience/Skills:

Prior exposure to IT services industry, preferably and Indian pure play
Prior exposure to capital budgeting, investment appraisals preferred
Strong Analytical skills with an ability to synthesize. Data mining ability
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Should possess superior ability to present data in a logical, executive consumable manner
Ability to deal with ambiguity, connect the dots and form the big picture
Self-motivated, Go getters with demonstrated ability to take initiatives driving business outcomes
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
Superior people and project management skills. Strong track record in developing people
