The Role
Leading Retail/Hospitality Company
AED 25,000 – 35,000 + Flights + Insurance

NTS Group are working exclusively with a leading retail and hospitality company to recruit a Finance Manager to join the team in Abu Dhabi. Reporting into the CFO and managing a team of 2 Direct Reports and 4 Indirect Reports, this position will be responsible for the following;

– Manage the entire support operations of the Company
– Ensure preparation of individual departmental strategy and business plans
– Ensure management of the activities in accordance with the strategies
– Review and approve departmental development and operating plans prepared by the respective section heads
– Ensure that sound policies, procedures and internal controls are effectively employed for proper execution of duties, responsibilities and attainment of overall goals and targets
– Ensure compliances with local laws & Company policies
– Reviews Internal Auditor / External Auditors’ reports and ensure necessary corrective action is undertaken
– Provide an economics advisory service and economics modeling service to the Company
– Provide leadership to all members of the finance department; foster a culture of team spirit, co-operation and continuous self-development within the Company

Requirements
– Master Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional certifications such as ACCA/ACA/CPA
– 10-15 years’ prior experience in a private or public sector Company
– Thorough experience in undertaking independent decisions in areas such as financial planning, cash management, fund management, accounting standards and policies, contracts and procurement, invoice processing and payments etc.
– Deep understanding of leading industry practices in various functional areas within finance
– Experience in resource planning, managing of contracts, fund management, overall business and finance acumen is essential
– Thorough understanding of hospitality industry with Experience in dealing / coordinating with commercial banks, international lenders, financial institutions etc.
– Development of transparent internal financial controls and related systems, which meet the aspirations of all shareholders.
– Strong drive for information technology advancements; proficient understanding of accounting systems
