JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role : SW/Application Tech Support
Must have Skills : Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration (DBA)
Job Description
1. Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system.
2. To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
3. Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL.
4. Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades .
5. Working knowledge on MSSQL Cluster, Log-shipping and Mirroring.
6. Database upgrade , Database Backup & Restore, SQL Server Installation.
7. Monitoring SQL Server
8. In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience.
9. Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014 RDBMS on large systems.
10. Experience Practical experience in monitoring
11.Experience of Transactional SQL, and DTS stored procedures. .
12. Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices.
