HMDA employees asked to enroll voters

HMDA secretary Aruna Kumari has called upon every employee to strive to enroll all citizens, who completed 18 years as voters and the employees have to feel it as part and parcel of their job.

Speaking on the occasion, Aruna Kumari made employees to take pledge on enrolling the citizens as voters on the occasion of Seventh National Voters Day celebrations here on Wednesday at HMDA office. She urged all the citizens to cast their votes to strengthen the democracy. She lamented that the percentage of votes in urban areas was less when compared with rural areas though the educated population was more in urban areas.

In a statement, HMDA member estate Rajesham informed that Handloom Exhibition will be held from January 27 and 28 at HMDA main office compound in Tarnaka. (NSS)
