Home Guards meet CPI leaders to take up their demands with Govt

A delegation of Home Guards today met CPI senior leaders Dr K Narayana and Chada Venkat Reddy and sought their support in solving their problems by the Sate government. They urged the CPI leaders to convey their demands to the government, which include priority to them in constable examination; provide ESI, PF and job security.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Narayana and Chada have demanded that the State government solve the problems of the Home Guards and provide job security. Stating that the Tamil Nadu government gave adequate priority to the Home Guards, they asked the Telangana government to emulate Tamil Nadu in this regard. They also demanded that the government promote Home Guards, who have completed five years service, as police constables and recognize Home Guards, who crossed 40 years as Group-IV employees.

The CPI leaders said they will mount pressure on the State government on the Home Guards problems. The Home Guards met Narayana and Chada under the leadership of AIYF State president B Ramulu Yadav, State general secretary B Anjaneyulu, vice-presidents — B Usharani, Marupaka Anil Kumar, Home Guards leaders Rajasekhar, Ram Pradeep, Swathi, Nareesh, Yadagiri, Vasudev, Vasantha, Lingam and others.
