Huma Qureshi skips Eid to shoot ‘Oculus’ remake with brother

Huma Qureshi is missing Eid celebrations at home as the actress has begun shooting the remake of 2013 Hollywood film “Oculus”, which also stars her brother Saqib Saleem.

The brother-sister duo is working together in a Bollywood movie for the first time.

“Eid Mubarak. Missing everyone back home but first day of shoot for @Saqibsaleem and I… Small ways God lets us know he is watching and blessing,” she posted on Twitter.

The yet-untitled movie, like the original, focuses on the story of a brother-sister, who get separated at a young age due to an antique mirror.

The film is being shot in London.

“Celebrating Eid in London… Went and prayed in South hall. It didn’t feel like that I wasn’t in India.. Thank you Allah !! Eid Mubarak world!! But I miss meri maa ke haath ka khaana!! (I miss food cooked by my mother),” Saqib wrote.

Huma, 28, was last seen in “Badlapur”, while 27-year-old Saqib’s on-screen previous outing was “Hawaa Hawaai”.
