Humanity still alive: Doctor’s financial help saved cancer affected Muslim girl in Jagtiyal

Hyderabad: A Muslim girl from Jagtiyal was affected from Cancer. She was operated upon last week which was successful. Dr. A. Srinivas Reddy extended financial help to the family of the patient for meeting travel expenses.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr. A. Srinivas Reddy told that for the past 6-months, Ms. Sana Maryam, daughter of Abdur Rahman, resident of Jammigadda, Jagtiyal was suffering from bone cancer. The patient needed Rs. 4 lakh for operation which the parents of the girl could not afford. Dr. Srinivas Reddy posted an appeal on Social media for extending financial help to the girl. He himself donated Rs. 50, 000 in cash and deposited a cheque for Rs. 2 lakh in the hospital with a request to start operation. His close friend Mr. Mahendra and other also assured financial help to the girl to the tune of Rs. 2 lakh. After posting the appeal on social media, he gave the details of the patient to Ms. Kavitha, MP of Nizamabad. She assured to get the entire amount of the treatment from CM’s Relief Fund. She wrote a letter to CM. The case is pending in CMO. The girl was operated upon two weeks back. Dr. Srinivas Reddy arranged ambulance and made arrangements for the safe return of the girl to her house in Jagtiyal. The girl thanked Dr. Srinivas Reddy and Ms. Kavitha MP and the doctors of Aruna Hospital, Jagtiyal and said that they gave her a new life. While speaking to the media, the girl shed tears.
