Hundreds of students deprived of post matric scholarships


Complaints are being received by minority students regarding non-receipt of complete post matric scholarship amount by the state government. Although the government had directed to clear all the applications of 2014-15, however scholarship amount was not issued to most of the students. Though Minority Welfare Department officials have claimed to release complete amount of scholarship, but it was learnt after seeking details of amount released to some college in Hyderabad that the complete amount of scholarship has not been released. Officials are not in a position to clarify on this matter.

Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel told that he will get information from the concerned officials. He also admitted to have received complaints regarding non-payment of complete scholarship amount.
