Hyderabad: Police became alert after the incident of attack by miscreants on the Imam of a masjid in Begum Bazar area. According to the reports, the Imam, Maulana Asim of Masjid Taik Bughdadi was stopped on the way and was attacked by miscreants. It is not the first incident in this area. Many a time, persons wearing cap and growing beard are targeted during night times.
It is reported that Maulana Asim was going on motorcycle with his friend Basheer when this incident took place.
The accused Mohit Singh, Lalit Singh, Shital Singh and Pawan Kumar were arrested and given in judicial custody. Police started investigation.
