A young college student, consuming liquor while driving her car, dashed against two cars, including a cab, in the posh Banjara Hills area on Monday night.
According to Banjara Hills Police Inspector Srinivas, the 21-year-old woman belongs to Somajiguda and was studying BBA in a private college in Jubilee Hills. While returning from a dinner party along with her friends in her car, dashed against two cars, including a cab at Prasad Labs in Banjara Hills. When the cab driver tried to stop the car, the drunken woman got down the vehicle and resorted to tongue lashing. The girl abused even the police and the bystanders in filthy language. The police found liquor in plastic glasses near the steering wheel and some bottles too.
The Banjara Hills Police rushed to the spot and took the woman into custody. The Traffic police used breathe analyser and found her drunk heavily. The police registered a case against her under Sections 279 and 185 IPC. The police seized the car and called her parents for counseling. (NSS)
