Hyderabad: Husband forcing his wife for prostitution arrested

Hyderabad: Husband who hails from Mumbai was forcing his wife, a resident of Madannapet, Hyderabad for prostitution was arrested at Nampally Railway Station.

According to the details, Farheen Fatima (19) got married to a native of Mumbai, Mohammed Yousuf alias Saddam in 2015. It is said that her husband and in-laws belong to Hindu community. This fact was suppressed at the time of marriage. The local residents, Anwar Jahangir and Javeed helped in marriage.

Farheen Fatima complained that after marriage, her husband, Mohammed Yousuf shifted her to Mumbai where he was forcing her for prostitution. Her in-laws were also harassing her for dowry. Vexed up with their atrocities, she came back to Hyderabad with the help of her parents. When she made a complaint to Madannapet Police Station, no action was taken. She contacted MBT spokesman and former corporator, Mr. Mohammed Amjadullah Khan Khalid who took her to DCP of South Zone Police, Mr. Satyanarayana who instructed Madannapet police station to register a case under 370 (Prostitution), 417 (Cheating) and 498A (Dowry Harassment). The police arrested her husband, Mohammed Yousuf and her mother-in-law, Rahmath Begum from Nampally Railway Station. They were produced in the court and sent to Chanchalguda jail.
