Hyderabad numero uno in IT soon: KTR

Hyderabad: IT Minister KT Rama Rao today stated that the new IT policy is aimed at making Telangana a number one state in India in the chosen sector. The IT policy will give priority to youth of rural areas and towns to tap the latent talent and encourage startups. he said.
Addressing at the launch of new IT Policy of Telangana at HICC here in the presence of Governor ESL Narasimhan, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, Infosys founder Narayana Murty and cabinet ministers and a large number of delegates from a sizeable number of business and companies, he said that efforts are on to make Hyderabad an unsurpassed destination. Hyderabad, which is holding second position in IT field, will soon become a number one destination, he vowed. The new IT policy and four other sub policies will increase IT productivity and exports by offering all support and facilities to the companies coming up with investments. “We will surpass other cities in the IT sector soon”, he said adding that youth and graduates will get skill development training to fit to the companies hiring.
KTR projected Hyderabad as an unrivaled place for bestowed with better infrastructure and connectivity to other cities in the country. Besides the policy, other four policies launched are Gaming and Animation by Rajendra Srivastava, Electronic Manufacturing by VK Saraswat and Rural Technology and Innovation by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Sri Hari along with ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Jagadish Reddy. T Hub has signed deals with 28 companies in the presence of the Chief Minister on the occasion. (NSS)
