Hyderabad Police to auction 4,222 unclaimed vehicles

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police have an accumulation of 4,222 abandoned / unclaimed vehicles of various type and make, which are pooled at Shiv Kumar Lal, Police Stadium Grounds at Goshamahal.

According to City Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy, the City Police proposes to dispose these vehicles by way of Public auction as empowered U/s 40 of Hyderabad City Police Act.

The particulars of vehicles are available with K. Deepak Chandra, Inspector cell no. 9490616288 and I. Narsimha Murthy, Sub-Inspector Cell No. 8333900206 and on the official website of Hyderabad City Police www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in

Any person having any objection or ownership interest in any of these vehicles may file an application before the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City and claim the vehicle with in a period of six months from the date of notification, failing which the vehicles will be auctioned, the Commissioner said on Tuesday.
