Hyderabad: A teacher on Sunday sexually assaulted his student in Nagarkurnool district on Sunday. Parents lodged a complaint on Monday, as per the police, the girl is studying in Class IX at the Government High School in Peddakottapalli mandal in the district.
The suspect Narsimha was doing ‘in-house service’ as a part of his B.Ed II year course requirements. The girl was helping him write his records. He assaulted her when she went alone to the school on Sunday to hand over the records which she had completed for him, DC reports.
As the girl, was alone, he confined her to a room and sexually assaulted her. The girl escaped and rushed home and told her parents.
Peddakottapalli Police registered a case as per the complaint, under charges of Rape and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the girl was sent for a medical examination. Meanwhile, the trainee teacher is absconding.
