Hyderabad: Wife, 16-yr-old paramour killed husband, caught carrying body on bike


Hyderabad: A housewife and her16-year-old nephew were detained by Hayathnagar police for killing woman’s husband.

The deceased was identified as Pullaiah, 28, daily-wage labour, resident of LB Nagar.

As per media reports, M. Pravallika was maintaining an extramarital affair with her teenage boy friend, a class X student.

After learning about his wife’s extra-marital affair, Pullaiah asked them to end the affair but she continued.

On Saturday, when Pullaiah returned to home drunk, he found Pravalika and her boyfriend Upender chatting. Pravalika picked up arguments and beaten him to death.

With the help of neighbour’s bike, they carried Pullaiah’s body towards Nalgonda when the police patrol followed them suspecting foul play as they noticed injuries on Pullaiah’s body.

“Upender and Pravalika planned to shift the body after informing family members that Pullaiah was unconscious. As the bike reached the Abdulpurmet, police detained the bike and inquired about Pullaiah,” said Hayatnagar Inspector Narender to the New Indian Express.

During questioning, Pravalika and her boyfriend confessed to have killed Pullaiah.

A case under 174 CrPC (suspicious death) was registered and the body has been sent for autopsy.

Pullaiah, a native of Nalgonda along with his family shifted to the city for their livelihood.
